
The Cuban Missile Crisis is considered to be the hottest moment in the Cold War. The Cuban Missile Crisis happened during the Cold War. It was between the United States and the Soviet Union. It was the hottest moment in the Cold War because it was the closet the World has ever come to having a nuclear war. The Soviet Union was placing missiles installations in Cuba quickly and secretly. Then photographs were discovered what the Soviet Union was doing and the next morning President John F. Kennedy was informed what the Soviet Union was during in Cuba. The President organized a group of twelve important advisors to handle the crisis. After the President organized the group to handle the crisis the President announced to the public about the discover of out the Soviet Union was doing. He made his decision to quarantine the island of Cuba and demanding the Soviet Union to remove all their weapons out of Cuba. The tension between the Soviet Union and The United States became to rise. Finally the United States and Soviet Union came to an agreement. The Soviet Union will take the weapons out of Cuba and return it back to Russia like the United States wanted. The United States was not to invade Cuba.
